Call for Submissions: Scrawled v1n2 - February

01.28.06 (12:57 am)   [edit]
FEBRUARY 2006 ISSUE - THEME
VALENTINE'S DAY
AT SCRAWLED

Once a year, Cupid prepares his special arrows of love, and shoots them in the rear of the unwary. Sometimes his aim is fair, and true love is born between an unsuspecting couple. However, most of the time his aim is often a little off-centre, and unrequited love abounds. While totally unproven for now, Scrawled believes that Valentine's Day rejection is solely responsible for pube-burning Wiccans, bra-burning Feminists, cat-hoarding lesbians, and for the emo culture in its entirety.

Valentine's Day means different things to different people. It can be a celebration of love for some, while for others it is a devastating reminder of rejection. Whichever category you fit into, everyone's got a story to share, and we'd like to hear it!

DEADLINE IS JANUARY 31, 2006

Scrawled v1n2 online
